Beautiful! Spectacular! Enchanting! Romantic! Peaceful! Exciting! Wild!
Words can no more capture the essence of the majestic central Oregon coast than a photograph can do justice to the lush colors of a breathtaking Pacific sunset. The scenery of the coast varies from wide sandy beaches to rugged headlands of solid rock. The many moods of the Pacific Ocean range from placid to tempestuous. This is a place where, nearly every day of the year, whales frolic just off the shore, making this "The Whale Watching Capital." Sea lions, seals, pelicans, and other seabirds too numerous to list add to the wonder of this area.
The towns are human-sized, without the crushing crowds and stress of cities. Cities have rush hours, our largest towns have "rush minutes!" You feel it in the air; here, people work to live instead of living to work. Breathe it in, relax, you're on "coastal time." There may be no more satisfying experience than walking an unspoiled beach, or watching a mother whale and her calf as they feed and frolic so close to you that you can actually hear them spout.
You say you want fun and excitement? When you stay with Skyshine LLC,
whether you're just passing through overnight or you're at your ultimate
vacation destination, the Central Oregon coast has activities
for every interest: whale watching, beachcombing, wave watching, surfing, casinos, golf, restaurants, wine tasting,
hiking, the Oregon Acuarium, parks, beaches and deep sea charter fishing. Special events include major entertainment acts, the Newport Seafood and Wine Festival, the nationally acclaimed Cascade Head Music Festival, Wooden Boat Shows, Christmas Tree Lighting, Rubber Ducky Races, the Depoe Bay Salmon Bake, 4th of July Fireworks, the Blessing of the Fleet, and many others. The central coast has it all!

The properties of Skyshine LLC snuggle up to the Pacific Ocean on this
charming stretch of the Central Oregon coast. The shops, galleries,
restaurants, and wine tasting rooms of the small fishing town of Depoe Bay
are a leisurely walk or a short drive from your doorstep. Whether your visit to Depoe Bay is
a romantic getaway for two, a family holiday, or a reunion with old friends,
you'll find activities to delight each person at a Skyshine LLC
oceanfront getaway. |

Known as the Whale Watching capital of Oregon , Depoe Bay
hosts the smallest navigable harbor in the world. From the huge seawall
running the entire length of the town of Depoe Bay you can watch trawlers
and boats wait at the mouth of the harbor to time their run in from whale
watching excursions, deep sea fishing or sightseeing. At night, the twinkling
harbor lights will enchant you from the deck or living room of your luxurious vacation home.
Another breathtaking feature of the Central Oregon coast at Depoe Bay is
the ancient lava beds that abut the seawall. When the water is rough
the famous Depoe Bay
spouting horns occurs as seawater under high pressure
blows up through the lava tubes - a sight you will want to be sure to see!
You won't want to miss the Devil's Punchbowl, where wind and water have carved the coast into fascinating shapes. While viewing the Devil's Punchbowl stop in at Mo's for seafood, and at The Flying Dutchman Winery for a wine tasting.
Whatever the reason for your visit, let Skyshine LLC be your host for an unbeatable Central Oregon coast
vacation. |
