Snuggle Inn and Snuggle Up are the perfect places to immerse yourself in the special
atmosphere of the city of Depoe Bay. Actually, the "city" of Depoe Bay feels more like an oceanfront village:
laid-back, friendly, with a pace that brings a sigh of relaxation. At the same time, there is an excitement
that runs through visitors to this delightful place. The main downtown area sits right on the edge of the ocean;
on one side of the street are shops and restaurants, and on the other is the Pacific Ocean, sometimes placid and
calming, and other times roaring and crashing onto the solid basalt rock on which the town is built. At all times,
in all seasons, there is a beauty and majesty that visitors find irresistible.
You might expect that in a place known as "The Whale Watching Capital" you would see a lot of whales. And you'd
be right! Standing at the seawall you can watch as pods of whales spout and surface, at almost any day of the year.
A plethora of sea life and birds provide additional entertainment to Depoe Bay visitors. Whale watching cruises and
deep sea charters are popular attractions. Boats enter and leave one of the prides of Depoe Bay, "The World's
Smallest Navigable Harbor." The Coast Guard practices maneuvers in the bay. You can watch them from the bridge
made famous by the popular movie, "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest," one of Jack Nicholson's first big roles.
Things quiet down in the evening, but there is still a vibrant night life in the restaurants and lounges of Depoe Bay,
including the famous (or infamous) Depoe Bay institution, Gracie's Sea Hag Restaurant, where your fabulous seafood
dinner might be serenaded by Gracie playing the bottles on the bar. (Hey, Gracie is a very popular and outstanding
attraction, known far and wide!-and she's a very popular and well-liked resident.)
Snuggle Inn and Snuggle Up put you right in the middle of all this. From almost every room in either property and
from their decks you look out on the city and the bay. You are only ½ very walkable block from the shops and
eateries for which Depoe Bay is so well known, and from the seawall with the spouting horn (watch out, you could
get very wet if the waves are up.) These nearly new and "Almost Oceanfront" vacation homes are the perfect
base for your visit to Oregon's central coast.
Each property will sleep up to six persons in total comfort. They are perfect for larger groups to have two
properties together. The pictures tell the story about these two striking vacation homes. |

|
The master bedroom and bathroom are striking examples of the fusion of Asian and Modern
design concepts. The master bedroom is large and restful, with a very comfortable king bed. The view from the master
bedroom window is of the bay and the ocean as it crashes on the rocks. The clean lines and minimalist furnishings
leave plenty of room for you to move around. The master bathroom is a ¾ bath with more impressive design features.
The dual pedestal sinks, striking light fixtures and wall art match the most upscale hotel baths. In total, the
